Celebrating 60 Years

This year marks the 60th year in business for Valley Carriers. In 1963, Valley Pulp & Sawdust Carriers (as the company was originally known) was founded by Neil and Rita Klassen with one truck used to haul firewood and sawdust. From that one truck, we have grown into a flourishing family enterprise that is backed by four generations of Klassens and built on the values of faith, family, and hard work.

In the last 6 decades, we have grown into operating multiple companies that form our larger Klassen Business Group. From our transportation services of Valley Carriers, to our product division VitaTerra Soil & Mulch Products and our retail operations of Superior Peat, Klassen Landscape Supply, Just Mulch and Klassen Wood Co, we continue to be a multi-generational, legacy-focused company that is committed to long-term, sustainable, and scalable growth.
